Scapegoat

Scapegoat is a small bar built into a unit at Exeter Central station, on Queen Street, run by Topsham Brewery under a name that replaced the venue's previous life as Tabac. It's compact - room for around twenty five people on the crescent around the entrance - and the standout feature is the view: a live display of trains coming and going from the adjoining platforms while you drink.

The taps run to about ten kegs plus a rotating real ale from Topsham Brewery and a couple of ciders, so the focus is craft keg beer rather than a big cask range. There's no kitchen on site - food gets ordered in from neighbouring Portal Pizza instead - and an outside pavement area for when the weather allows. It's dog-friendly and about as convenient for a quick pint as Exeter gets, being right by the station and bus routes.
